Rules and regulations for using the scoreblox website, apps, and services.
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of scoreblox, which is provided by Kawntr Ltd, a company registered in New Zealand (“scoreblox”, “we”, “us”), including:
Together these are the “Services”. By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Services on behalf of a club, league, association or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it, and “you” includes that organisation.
“Your content” means anything you or your organisation add to the Services, such as competitions, scores, commentary, notes, logos and photos. You keep ownership of it. You grant scoreblox a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute and adapt your content as needed to operate, promote and improve the Services — for example to show live scores, scorecards and statistics publicly in our apps, on our website and in notifications. Match data is public by design; do not enter information you do not want published.
You confirm that you have the rights needed for your content and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or break the law. We may remove content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms.
You must not:
The free scoreblox cricket app shows advertising, including ads provided by Google AdMob. Ads are removed for users with an active ad-free subscription. Organisations may also show sponsor branding on their competitions. We are not responsible for third-party ads or the products they promote.
The Services — including the apps, software, design, scoreblox name and logo, and statistics and content that we produce — belong to scoreblox or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services in line with these Terms. You must not copy, modify, distribute or sell any part of the Services except as these Terms allow. You may share links to public match pages and scorecards.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
If you download our apps from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and scoreblox, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the apps or for any support, maintenance, warranty or claims relating to them. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You must also follow the app store’s own terms of use.
We work to keep the Services running and accurate, but live data can be delayed, interrupted or wrong, and features may change, be limited to certain regions or plans, or be withdrawn. We may update the apps and require you to install updates to keep using them. We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.
The Services rely on and may link to third-party services, such as sign-in providers, payment processors, app stores, streaming platforms and websites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for them.
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. Scores, statistics, fantasy points and predictions are for information and entertainment only.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded, such as the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies. If you use the Services for the purposes of a business or organisation, the parties agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, to the extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, scoreblox is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and NZ$100.
You agree to cover scoreblox for any claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your content, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of the Services.
You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access, or an organisation’s, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the Services. Where reasonable we will give notice first. Sections that by their nature should continue (including 4, 9 and 13–17) survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify you in the apps or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Services after that, you accept the updated Terms.
